Since 2002, every summer, the banks of the Seine are transformed into an artificial beach, ready for rest and leisure activities. In July 2017, on the banks of the Seine River in Paris, as part of Paris Plages, the Colombia Beach was set up. This activity was part of the Colombia season in France during the Colombia Year – France 2017.

The #ColombiaMiAmor beach extended for 100 meters, between the bridges of Les Invalides and Alma, and was divided into nine different spaces, allowing visitors to enjoy countless samples of the Colombian culture and options such as reading a good book of Gabriel García Márquez reclining in a hammock with the view of the Eiffel Tower, or enjoy musical presentations and salsa classes.
